This is our favorite Chinese/Japanese food place in this area. Also, the best sushi around. Not to mention their poo poo platter is to die for. Always friendly service. The Waiters and wait staff are generally long time employees. Definitely 5 stars. You won't be disappointed.

Notice to patrons and Manager!
I would not recommend young families or women to go to this restaurant. The bar was full of unsavory characters to say the least. Everyone at the bar was using foul language, discussing jail and illegal activities out loud. Absolutely dangerous crowd. I would be amazed if there wasn't police activity here regularly. My wife and son were scared, we finished our meal quickly and left. I'm a contractor and street savy. It was very clear what was going on. One person was leaving repeatedly and returning. I saw him pass something under the bar to the person next to him.
Management needs to pay attention. Frankly I think the restaurant is being bullied and used by these kind of people coming to the bar.. Bartender was scared to say anything or refuse to serve..
It is otherwise a nice restaurant with decent food and friendly staff. I'm giving this poor review to get their attention and to warn customers. If you go there... Be aware. I would not even consider leaving this place at night to go to my car. You could easily be set up to be robbed.
Good predictable food and drinks.
Please note this review was composed by my husband because he felt extremely compelled to warn everyone. I approve.
PS..there is a motel behind restaurant -

Large place with lots of parking and seating inside. Bring a group and sit at a circle table, which is what we did. Good service and lots of chefs doing their thing. The food seemed somewhat authentic with a twist of being extra-deep fried whenever there was an opportunity. Lots of people come here for the drinks which I would recommend. They have lots of drinks and they are well priced as well. Some of them are made a little sloppy, but the pina colada and scorpion bowl are both great options.
The portions are good for the price. Fried rice that came with the meals were a little oily and dry. Prices are decent and they have plenty of food to choose from like soups, dumplings, rices, noodles, and desserts. Recommended at least once if you're in middletown looking for a chinese food with some good drinks -

Susan and her husband sound like they need to get out more...or at least be more "tolerant" of "unsavory" people. God forbid there's a brown, black, yellow or purple person around while at an ETHNIC restaurant. I've been coming here for well over 10 years and have never had a problem. If you come here at 10pm on a Saturday night and sit near the BAR!!! - there's a chance you'll see someone who's been drinking (you're at a bar, Susan). Last I checked, this is Middletown, not Pleasantville circa 1950. Expect and accept diversity.

The food here is not very good. We used to enjoy, but I think it's gone downhill. The soup was thick, like pudding. The sauce for the vegetables was very thick too, and separated, too much oil. Sadly, the sushi was warm, which seemed odd. The dumplings were very thick and doughy. I think the quality of food they order has gone down. It's a shame because there are very few sit down Chinese restaurants in the area.
